Posting in my blog is the last thing I have time for right now, but I promised. So you get a quick story.
A couple weeks ago I was at Walmart. I could create a whole post about Walmart...a very lengthy post. But for now, just a teaser.
I was there at 7 am. It's the the only time I can keep my sanity at that place. I went to checkout. There was nobody in line at the register I walked up to, but the light was on and there was a cashier standing there. I proceeded to start unloading my groceries. The cashier was just standing there... and standing there...and standing there. My cart was about halfway unloaded when I finally looked at him and said "are you open?". He just said "ya". After my pause and blank look he said "I'm just waiting until you're done so I don't risk having to wait for you." Then he was just mumbling stuff like "you know, I might get done scanning before you're done loading and then I would have to stop...yada, yada." Really? REALLY?!
He proceeded to stand there until I had every. single. item. on the belt before he would scan my first item. Unbelievable. Only at Walmart, folks. Only at Walmart.
